A conifer found mid- to high-elevations. Graceful drooping branches. Needles flattened, 1/2-3/4in. long, dark green to bluish. Slow growing to 30' in 20 years, full grown at 60'-100' high and up to 3.5' diameter. Dense, tightly foliated pyramid shape. Small purple and yellow cones. Likes sun. Soil: Moist to dry.
